Since thunderstorms still threaten, we dared not venture into Nine Mile Canyon. Flash floods are no joke, even for a Jeep, and construction crews in the canyon have turned portions of the road into mud pits.
Instead, we check out the Price City Library. What a godsend. A fast internet server. Loading images into our blogsite turns out to be 5-10 times faster than previous locations. We take advantage and begin the laborious process of trying to catch up.
We spend the entire day blogging and conversing with locals in the library.
The city of Price has a subsidiary of the Kroger grocery chain and it accepts our Weis bonus card. Every clerk responds in disbelief. We are from Berks County, baby. And there is a Wal-Mart too! Paradise.
